A New Chapter

We've been away.
We come back better.

After a period of renewal, The Mango Tree reopens in August 2025 with a refreshed kitchen, a reimagined dining space, and the same recipes that have drawn guests to Katong for over two decades. Some things don't need changing. We know which ones those are.

Our Story

From the Malabar Coast
to Katong

When The Mango Tree opened in 2001, there was no other restaurant in Singapore doing both South Indian Coastal and North Indian cuisine under one roof. That was the point.

Our recipes come directly from the kitchens of Kerala and Goa — brought over, refined, and kept honest. The spices are fresh. The methods are traditional. The chefs know where they're from.
